Track repair plan

A total of 17.53 km of rail track will undergo a Type B overhaul and, in addition to this, there will be platform repairs at the Vangaži, Baltezers and Krievupe stations. Type B overhaul:

1. Odd track of Vangaži Station;
2. Main track IX of the Riga passenger station;
3. Track 3 of Cēsis Station;
4. In the section Jugla-Garkalne;
5. Tracks 7 and 8 of the Daugavpils passenger station;
6. Main track of Zilupe Station;
7. In the section Krauja – c. p. 401;
8. The even track in the section Garkalne – Krievupe and track II of Krievupe station.

In 2014 LDz Infrastruktūra Ltd. has plans to reconstruct and renovate rail tracks and carry out other repairs on more than 103 tracks.
